In this workshop, students will use their own images, line drawings, and text to create laser decals. They will learn the process of applying decals to wet clay, bisque and glazed ware. Students will also learn techniques for applying new and vintage commercial decals to ceramic pieces to create layered image collages on functional and decorative pottery. Students should bring pieces that have already been glaze fired. White or light colored glazes will work best with ceramic decals. Students may want to inquire about what glazes are recommended.
