From beautiful cutting boards to carved spoons and turned rolling pins, this practical workshop will feed your creative spirit. Combine the mesmerizing symmetry of shaping on the lathe, the beauty of thoughtfully carved wood and the precision of laminating and joinery. Top it all off with the opportunity to experiment with a variety of shapes and woods from ash and poplar to walnut and cherry. Mark is a dedicated teacher whose style and breadth of knowledge will inspire folks at all experience levels.

Bio: Mark Ragonese's work in wood is unique in its variety. He was honored in 1993 by the League of New Hampshire Craftspeople for his distinctive sculptural pieces and has, for many years been an Artist in Residence for NH schools. Mark has recently been creating commissioned pieces for private homes and public buildings.
