Would you like to add an artistic flare to your living or work space? Wrap around lampshades are a perfect canvas for your creativity! For all skill levels, this workshop is the perfect opportunity to explore color, texture, and pattern using a range of materials and techniques to create beautiful lighting. We will begin with the design process, learning how to adapt ideas and motifs to work well as a lampshade arc. With these designs on mind, we will explore a range of possible materials and techniques including faux finishing, stenciling, block printing, stitching, and embellishing to create unique arc surfaces. Following step by step instruction, we will use these patterned sheets to create beautiful custom wrap around lampshades for your home or office.
