Learn the basics of cutting, copper foiling and soldering of stained glass, then quickly move on to explore painting, airbrushing (using an atomizer) silk-screening, sand blasting and collage work on glass. This technique dates back to Medieval times; enamel paint is applied to glass and kiln fired, melting your design permanently onto the glass surface. The instructor will work one-on-one to best translate your concept and style onto glass. We will also discuss glass layering, lighting and framing... exploring and having fun with the materials. For beginners as well as advanced students. Plan to bring home a finished stained glass panel.
